When choosing luggage storage in Rome, start with four questions: where are you going, when will you return, how large are your bags, and what will your chosen booking period cost? These details help you compare options and plan collection.
Check the exact location
Leave Your Bags has two locations in Rome:
- Vatican / Ottaviano: Via degli Scipioni 86.
- Pantheon / Piazza Venezia: Corso Vittorio Emanuele II 18.
The Vatican / Ottaviano location is in the Prati area; the Pantheon / Piazza Venezia location serves the historic centre. Choose the one that fits your route and check the return journey too. If you need storage inside a railway station, compare the services located there separately: these are the only two Leave Your Bags locations.
Measure your bags before choosing Medium or Large
- Medium: 45 × 45 × 85 cm; from €2.50/hour.
- Large: 45 × 60 × 85 cm; from €3/hour.
Include wheels, handles and external pockets when measuring. If you have several bags, compare their combined dimensions with the locker dimensions: capacity depends on the shape and size of your luggage. Check the prices and sizes page before booking.
Compare prices for the same period
A starting hourly rate is not the total booking price. Select the period you need and check the amount before confirming. When comparing other services, check whether they charge per bag, per locker or per day, rather than assuming their terms are equivalent.
Leave Your Bags accepts credit cards or PayPal. Check availability at your chosen location during booking.
Plan drop-off, reopening and collection
Both locations open 07:00–23:00 every day, including public holidays. You can open and close your locker as many times as you like during your booked period. Plan collection within that period and the locations’ opening hours.

Read the insurance terms
The service is covered by an Italiana Assicurazioni policy with a €500,000 policy limit, subject to the policy terms. This limit applies to the policy, not to each individual bag. General information is available on the security page; the policy and service terms provide the applicable details.
